Anna, a well known writer, works on her next book on the life of four composers from the XXth century: the Dutchwoman Henriëtte Bosmans, the Anglo American Rebecca Clarke, the Hungarian Croat Dora Pejaçeviç and the Frenchwoman of Russian origins Nadia Boulanger. The will never meet and regardless they will share the exact same difficulties. How to compose in a medium that is exclusively compromised by men? A century later, Anna finds herself with the same obstacle: How does she convince her editor to publish this book?
